November Reflections
For LMA, November marks the anniversary of our founding and incorporation, an opportunity to celebrate four decades of growth, innovation and consistent family dedication.
Founded by Geoff (on the left) the company began with a simple aim; to manufacture agricultural aerosols. At it’s inception, LMA stood for “livestock marking aids” because it was the sole purpose of the company. In the 1990’s when Fraser (far right) took over running the company and accelerated LMA’s expansion into industrial and agricultural aerosols; shaping the company we are today.
In the early 2000’s Fraser’s wife took over the Accounts Management, working hard behind the scenes to make sure LMA could continue to invest and grow. 10 years ago Fraser’s daughter Beth (centre) joined the management team, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving the business forward with fresh ideas and a focus on quality and efficiency.
More recent family additions include Beth’s husband managing a key production stage; while Fraser’s son, Alex, focuses on expanding LMA’s presence in overseas markets and on social media. The fourth generation also attend regularly, start them young to make sure they get the aerosol bug! (along with the other one’s they get at nursery).
With all generations involved; the youngest bringing joy, the current two generations leading operations, and the founder still with a keen interest. We are, and will remain, a true family operation. One that will continue to grow while staying true to the same common goal and vision that started it all.
