A busy start to 2026 at LMA
It’s been a busy and productive start to the year here at LMA.
As always, January kicked off with our annual and monthly internal meetings — reviewing last year’s performance, analysing the data, and setting clear targets for the year ahead. As a family-run business, we thrive when communication flows throughout the business and these meetings help to ensure we’re all working to the same goals.
But it hasn’t just been meeting rooms and spreadsheets.
Our sales team have been on the road extensively, with customer visits across the UK and Europe, alongside a strong presence at key industry trade shows:
Automässan in Sweden
ADF in Paris
Packaging Innovations in Birmingham
We enjoy these events, as they allow us to see what’s new and upcoming, and we usually bump into a friendly face or two.
At home in Yorkshire, we’ve also taken delivery of new forklifts to support operational efficiency at the factory; and production has been running at full pace to meet demand. It’s been fantastic to see the team maintaining high standards across quality, safety and output.
With order levels remaining strong, our lead times are currently extending slightly to around six weeks. We’re working hard to keep this as tight as possible and appreciate our customers’ continued support and forward planning.
On a more personal note, we were also delighted to celebrate the 94th birthday of our founder a milestone that reminds us of our roots and the reason we remain a family owned business.
2026 is already shaping up to be another exciting year for LMA, and we’re looking forward to building on the momentum.
