Aerosol and Liquid Manufacturing Capabilities

Aerosol and Liquid Filling

Aerosols with no buttons on the line at LMA
We manufacture aerosol and liquid products to a wide range of technical specifications, supporting both flammable and non-flammable formulations. Our aerosol manufacturing includes conventional and bag-on-valve (BOV) systems, using LPG, DME, CO₂ and nitrogen propellants to meet performance and regulatory requirements.

Our aerosol lines accommodate sizes from 100ml to 750ml across a variety of can dimensions, in both steel and aluminium. We maintain a comprehensive stock of valves and valve systems — including male and female valves, 360° systems, high-output and inverted valves — allowing flexibility across product types and applications.

Alongside aerosols, we offer bulk liquid filling and bottle filling across a range of pack sizes and container types. Whether supplying finished packaged products or bulk volumes for onward distribution, we ensure accurate filling and consistent batch control throughout production.

All manufacturing operates within our ISO 9001 quality management system. We also support food-grade filling, including Kosher and Halal requirements where applicable.

We are structured to support both established product ranges and smaller, specialised production runs, providing the flexibility many brands require when developing or expanding their portfolio.

Product Development and Sampling

Product development sits at the centre of what we do. Alongside manufacturing, we support customers with formulation development, product refinement and performance testing across both aerosol and liquid products.

Our experienced technical team works with a wide range of formulations, whether adapting an existing product, matching a competitor benchmark or developing something entirely new. We understand that performance, regulatory compliance and commercial viability must work together — not in isolation.

Sampling forms a key part of the process. Before full production, we provide development samples to allow performance evaluation, comparison and sign-off. In-house testing — including pressure, viscosity, stability and compatibility checks — ensures products are validated prior to manufacture.

We also carry out thorough assessment of new raw materials to ensure long-term compatibility and product integrity, particularly within pressurised systems. Our processes are designed to identify potential issues before they reach production. Where challenges do arise, we investigate root causes carefully and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

From initial concept through to validated product, our role is to provide practical technical guidance and structured development support aligned with your market and regulatory requirements.

Packaging and Component Specification

Packaging decisions influence both product presentation and regulatory compliance. We advise on the most appropriate can and labelling solution based on design requirements, production volumes and commercial objectives.

Our options include pre-printed (lithographic) cans, digital litho solutions and high-quality labelling. Digital litho offers a balance between premium presentation and cost efficiency, particularly where multiple designs are required across larger combined volumes. Labelling remains a flexible and commercially practical option across a wide range of product types.

Artwork and compliance are closely linked. Our design and technical teams work together to ensure Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information, hazard classifications and regulatory requirements are accurately reflected on labels and kept up to date as legislation evolves. Where appropriate, we also advise on formulation adjustments that may reduce aggressive labelling while maintaining performance and compliance.

For customers supplying products into the UK, EU or USA, we provide guidance on differing labelling and regulatory requirements to ensure packaging aligns with the relevant legislation.

Valve, cap and outer packaging choices are considered alongside product performance and positioning to ensure the finished product is technically and commercially aligned.

Regulation and Environmental Responsibility

Manufacturing products that fall under evolving UK and international regulations requires careful oversight. We monitor legislative developments to ensure our formulations, documentation and manufacturing practices remain aligned with current requirements.

Our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified management systems underpin all areas of production, providing structured control of quality, environmental impact, supplier oversight and documented processes throughout manufacturing.

In relation to REACH and CLP, we work closely with both suppliers and customers to ensure obligations are met. As a downstream user, we purchase compliant raw materials and maintain the documentation necessary to support product conformity.

We carry out detailed checks of customer artwork to confirm CLP compliance and suitability for sale to both professional and consumer markets. We also provide guidance on labelling and Safety Data Sheets for products destined for the UK, EU and USA.

Environmental responsibility forms part of our day-to-day operations. Alongside controlled waste management and recycling initiatives, we actively meet our obligations under UK Packaging Waste Regulations and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, ensuring compliance with reporting and recovery duties while working to minimise environmental impact.

Quality

Quality underpins every stage of our manufacturing process. Our ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System provides structured control across raw materials, production and finished goods.

Traceability procedures are in place for both components and completed products, ensuring materials can be tracked and verified throughout manufacture. Batch records, inspection checks and documented controls form part of our routine operations.

Components and finished products are checked against specification, packing requirements, regulatory compliance and safety standards before release. Where issues are identified, we investigate thoroughly to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Maintaining quality requires consistent attention and accountability. Our systems are designed not only to detect problems, but to reduce the likelihood of them occurring in the first place.

Delivery and Lead Times

All products are manufactured to order, allowing us to maintain specification control and production flexibility. Lead times for new products typically range between 4–8 weeks, depending on component availability, while repeat products can often be produced within 2–3 weeks.

Quotations are usually provided on a delivered basis, though ex-works options are available where preferred. We arrange distribution across the UK and internationally, from single cartons and palletised shipments through to full container loads.

Our logistics arrangements are structured to support both regular supply and export requirements, ensuring products are delivered reliably and in line with agreed schedules.
