Each of our orders is tailor made for our customers, so unless you order something more than once, no two orders are the same.
In 2005 we added another filling line which makes us more flexible and reduces lead times. In the same year we also expanded our site to include a building dedicated to screen printing and storage of aerosol cans.
In 2014 we further expanded our site location and now we’re developing this area.
This year we’re planning a new building and another production line. The addition of a compressed gas filler in May will give us, greater filling options. And all of this will enable us to keep up with the opportunities which arise.
We are able to fill thousands of different aerosol products to thousands of different specifications. Currently LMA can fill aerosols from 100ml to 750ml, in a variety of dimensions, in both steel and aluminium cans, but we also have the ability to stock DS Containers. We store a whole host of valves and valve systems, including male and female valves, 360 degree valves, high output and inverted valves.
On some occasions we have found that customers prefer to provide us with components for their products, this is something we are happy to accept.
We can also supply filled liquid products, and are looking to expand this in the next few years.
If you don’t have a branded product which you would like manufacturing then LMA does have its own brand which we would be more than happy to supply you with.
The majority of our manufacturing is specialising in automotive and industrial aerosols, however should you have a product in mind that you don’t think we currently manufacture then we are always happy to discuss it.
Product Development and Samples
LMA has extensive experience of all types of aerosol products and has an experienced technical department dedicated to developing new products and improving existing products.
There are an infinite number of options for your samples, including matching existing products to create a whole new product, or simply improving a product which already exists.
For any questions on a product or your product then you can email the technical department or contact the sales department, who will endeavour to find an answer.
Printing, Design and Components
Our artwork and design capabilities mean that we are able to perfect container presentation in line with volume and colour requirements. We offer a complete range of print solutions including; out-sourced pre-printed (lithographic) cans, with or without 1 colour screen printing in-house, and labels and sleeves.
Screen printing is ideal for runs between 600 and 5,000, depending on the colours required. Where 2 or more colours or fine registration is needed labelling is a more effective option. For detailed can designs of 1,000 to 5,000 then digital labels might be the better option. However if your order is for between 2,000 and 10,000 then an offset label might be something to consider. Sleeves are another option and are suitable for runs starting at 5,000. Sleeves and offset labels also offer the option of wrap around, enabling you to include more information on the can.
If it is quality that you require then pre-printed cans offer a premium look, however with minimum volume requirements being between 15,000 and 30,000 units per design it is not an option available for everyone.
For companies with a range of products, a generic pre-printed can design represents the best of both worlds. In this instance a can design would suit a range of products and all that would change is the text which we print onto the can. We are always able to advise the most appropriate method based on design, volume colours and any other variables.
LMA is as flexible with valve and cap specifications as we are with can and printing options, and will always point you in the right direction. We also have the option of providing printed card board boxes in a style to suit your brand, there is always another option for you to consider. We have found that card board boxes offer the most protection to the aerosols during transport, not to mention they are more environmentally friendly.
